There are always new things to discover - for children and adults. And nowhere is the harmony with nature more tangible than in the mountains.

Varied trails

The Schladming Tauern and the Dachstein region offer a huge range of hiking and mountain tours. These two very different mountain regions offer easy to challenging tours and hikes.

Immediately from the Pension Steiermark there are numerous walks that offer much to see.

The Hochwurzen - the adventure mountain

Our local mountain, the Hochwurzen, not only in winter is an amazing adventure, but also in summer and autumn. From the peak to the valley with the rapid Mountain Go Karts - this really is pure fun and one of the top attractions.

Mountainbike, Radl and E-Bike

Biking is particularly attractive in the region Schladming-Dachstein. There are a variety of marked routes and bicycle paths

Tip: Have you ever ridden an e-bike? At many rental stations you can hire e-bikes or mountain e-bikes and you can also charge the battery quickly. It involves less effort to reach the most beautiful destinations.

Swimming and other water pleasures

Numerous pools and lakes in the vicinity are at hot temperatures in the summer. Just to be able to put your feet in the crystal clear water of a mountain lake is something very special. There is also an indoor pool to visit.
